Update Recommendation: We recommend upgrading to v0.1.4-hotfix as soon as possible.
Target Audience: All reth-bsc node operators on BSC mainnet and testnet, including validators, MEV builders, full nodes and sentry operators.
Procedure: To upgrade, install v0.1.4-hotfix and restart your node. This release includes the upstream Reth fix for incorrect state-root calculation in the legacy path. No database migration or hardfork is required for this fix.
Schedule (Timeline): As soon as possible.
Community Reference: Includes the upstream Reth state-root fix (#28264), which addresses an issue that could cause the legacy state-root calculation path to compute an incorrect root under specific trie conditions.
