0.4.9 RC1 Release Notes

• Forces default controller/VMU configuration on netplay game boot

  • VMU-supported games whitelisted

• Allows BIOS files to be detected from ROMs/ directory instead of data/

• Fixes crashing on game boot when SDL joystick mapping definitions are not found

  • Filename now falls back to Flycast default, generating new file when unavailable

• Disables mouse toggle by default, allowing Ultimarc J-PAC keyboard mappings to work

• Spectating now uses new message streaming format

• Replay file format (.flyr) identical to match stream

  • Versioned old replays (.flyreplay) to maintain compatibility with past recordings

• Tech Romancer added to DC Game Entry for lobby inclusion
