Fixes Windows 10 Network Connectivity Status Indicator (NCSI). No longer adds these hosts file entries:
0.0.0.0 msftncsi.com
0.0.0.0 www.msftncsi.com
If your Windows 10 NCSI is broken, we recommend you edit C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts and remove any lines containing the text "msftncsi", then save the file. That should fix the issue for you.
AVG, and Avast think this file is a virus. I don't understand why. I freshly built the software with a recent python install, and packages pulled with pip, and then I ran my build script, build.ps1, which uses pyinstaller to create an exe. I think a handful of antivirus vendors think software built with pyinstaller is a virus. There is a stackoverflow thread on this issue. I submitted false positive request to AVG, and also submitted the build to virustotal.
