Final version for submission along-side paper.
Removed the total_RAM_available_gb parameter from test() — along with the associated validation logic that handled the "auto" k mode.
Fixed the docstring: rank default changed from True to False to match actual behavior.
Overhauled the test suite to proper pytest conventions (fixtures, parametrize, etc.).
Removed total_RAM_available_gb from test_k_parameter.
Added test_view_input_warns to verify the UserWarning raised on view input.
Modernised the GitHub Actions workflow (dependency installation, path triggers, conda setup).
