✨ New Features
- Release verification — confirm an update is genuine before it installs:
- GitHub build verification checks a release's build attestations so you know its assets weren't tampered with. Three modes — Off, Audit (show the result), Enforce (block unverified installs) — plus in-app validation of your GitHub personal access token.
- F-Droid reproducible-build enforcement can block updates that F-Droid flags as not matching the binary built from source.
- Each app shows a build-status badge — Verified, Mismatched, Unverified, No verification data, or Can't check — and the related options live in a new Security settings section.
- Installed version detection modes — choose per app how ObtainX compares your installed version against what the source offers: Auto, Standard (no pseudo-versioning), or Pseudo versioning, for fewer false "update available" prompts.
- Battery-optimization warning — ObtainX now alerts you when battery optimization is enabled (which can delay scheduled/background update checks and interrupt downloads after you leave the app), with a one-tap shortcut to the system setting and a "Don't ask again" option.
🛠 Improved Features
- Settings — reorganized, with source-specific options (e.g. GitHub access token) grouped alongside the new Security controls.
📦 Coming soon
- F-Droid & IzzyOnDroid — ObtainX will be published on F-Droid (reproducible, store-managed updates) and IzzyOnDroid, alongside GitHub.
