Announcing QuickStack v1.0.0!

QuickStack 1.0.0 is our first major release. It makes deploying and configuring apps much simpler: the new Project Canvas lets you manage apps directly from the project view, and framework build methods remove the need for your own Dockerfile. This release also adds Docker build arguments and automatic volume backups before deployments. As a first preview, a remote MCP server lets AI clients manage QuickStack.

New Features

• Introducing Project Canvas: apps can now be configured from a new Settings tab in the project canvas drawer. The node details drawer also shows database credentials and latest backups.
• New Framework Build Method: Next.JS, Angular, React, SvelteKit, Astro and Nuxt apps can now be easily deployed with preconfigured build config so you don't have to setup a Dockerfile.
• Automatic volume backup before deployment: volume backups can run automatically before a deployment is applied.
• Docker build arguments: Dockerfile apps can define build-time variables next to runtime env vars in the Environment tab.
• UI upgrade: shadcn/ui now runs on latest base-ui.
• Remote MCP server (canary): QuickStack now has a built-in MCP server at /api/mcp. AI clients such as Claude can manage QuickStack through it.
