New features
🔹 Farewell FGMOD, Hello BGMOD!
FGMOD did a fantastic job, but over time, its limitations became clear. Because it was a shell script, updating it required wiping all user configurations since variables were baked directly into the script.
BGMOD is a complete rewrite in native Pascal. It is now a native binary (much faster), and all configurations have been moved to an external file (bgmod.conf). This means BGMOD can be updated seamlessly without ever touching your personal settings. It’s faster, better, and much more reliable.
🔹 Pascube is now integrated into Goverlay
What used to be separate codebases are now fully unified. Pascube also received a major update to version 1.8.3, based on the latest Pasvulkan snapshot, introducing Pascube Benchmark and Pascube_DB.
Pascube now serves a dual purpose:
1- It works as a Vulkan demo to easily test interface effects (MangoHud, vkSumi, vkBasalt).
2- It tests your gaming system, generates a performance score, and lets you compare it with other hardware (inspired by 3DMark). Resultas are public, can be viewed here.
Note: This release starts with a limited database, but as more users upload their results to Pascube_DB, the data will grow, allowing us to recalibrate and improve the scoring system over time.

⚠️ Known Issues
There is a known bug affecting the Pascube Benchmark on Ubuntu-based distributions when using the AppImage version. For now, we highly recommend using the Flatpak version if you encounter issues.
