github benct/lovelace-multiple-entity-row v4.13.0-beta.1
4.13.0-beta.1

pre-release2 hours ago

First beta for 4.13.0 — a reserve_header option and fixes for templated row actions and null attributes. Install via HACS with Show beta versions enabled.

What's new

  • reserve_header: false (#459) — since 4.10.0 an entity without a header (name: false, or the main state without state_header) keeps an empty header line when a sibling shows one, so the values sit level. Set it on the row to center those values instead; the default is unchanged.
type: custom:multiple-entity-row
entity: binary_sensor.dishwasher_running
reserve_header: false
entities:
  - entity: sensor.dishwasher_operation_state
    name: false
  - entity: sensor.dishwasher_remaining_program_time
    name: Remaining

Fixed

  • Templated row actions (#460) — templates in the row's own tap_action / hold_action / double_tap_action, e.g. navigation_path: /config/devices/device/{{ device_id(entity) }}, reached Home Assistant unrendered when tapping the row's icon or name. They now resolve, as they already did on additional entities.
  • hide_unavailable on a null attribute (#452) — an attribute reported as null, the way integrations say "not set", now hides instead of showing Unknown.

Recently: 4.12.0 moved entity names onto Home Assistant's own naming (HA 2026.4+) and let color / state_color maps color the text of additional entities.
