github benct/lovelace-multiple-entity-row v4.10.1
4.10.1

Patch release: bug fixes only. No breaking changes, no config changes.

What's fixed

  • Clicks in the gap between entities now work (#432). The 16px spacing between entities showed a pointer cursor but swallowed clicks; the gap is now part of the neighboring entity's tap target.
  • Self-healing for a Home Assistant 2026.8 loading race that intermittently broke every row (home-assistant/frontend#52960). HA 2026.8's new custom-element registry polyfill can race custom card resources on cold or slow loads, leaving rows stuck on "Configuration error: Custom element doesn't exist" until reload. The card now detects losing the race and re-registers itself automatically; a console line (multiple-entity-row: re-defined … caught by ha-boot signal) tells you it happened. If you've seen intermittent configuration-error rows since upgrading to 2026.8, this is why.
  • Double-loaded resources no longer break the card. If the resource is registered twice (e.g. a HACS entry plus a leftover manual one), the first copy now wins with a console warning instead of throwing mid-load, and the card picker lists the card once.
