github ben-manes/gradle-versions-plugin v0.65.0

  • Report later versions of an enforcedPlatform, where the platform was reported as up to date (#1141, #1143)
  • Publish the partial result's destination rather than the task output, where an IDE sync under org.gradle.tooling.parallel failed intermittently (#1135, #1136)
  • Apply the settings plugin from the README's init script only if it isn't already applied, so DependencyUpdatesTask can be configured by type where the settings plugin is applied in the settings script (#1137)
  • Declare isolated projects compatibility on the Plugin Portal (#1138)
  • Build on Gradle 9.8.0 with the versions settings plugin 0.64.0, and clear the build's Gradle 10 deprecations (#1138, #1139, #1145)
  • Bump the ktlint plugin to 14.2.0 and the plugin-publish plugin to 2.2.1 (#1018, #1133)
  • Match the platform line separator in the output assertions, so the tests pass on Windows (#1144)
  • Fix defects found reviewing the changes since v0.64.0 (#1146)

Note

An enforcedPlatform is no longer reported as up to date when a later version of it is available. The strictly that Gradle adds at the version declared is left out of versionConstraint, so strictVersion is empty there in a rejectVersionIf filter or componentSelection rule. A range declared on an enforcedPlatform still bounds it. See Migrating from prior versions.
