Correct metadata summaries, release dates, and Library UI behavior
Fixed
- Metadata imports and Game Info use the source's short summary first, with
readable longer text as a fallback. Manual text, literal angle brackets, and
paragraph/list spacing are preserved, including after delayed metadata loads
and while Game Info pages close. Unrelated saves and automatic Steam-name
lookups keep saved descriptions and dates. Clearing a description while a
Steam match loads also keeps it cleared. - Release dates use calendar-date strings rather than stored timestamps, so
timezone changes do not change the saved day. Steam imports accept both
English month-first and day-first forms; IGN date-time values keep their
supplied day. Older saved timestamps are converted once, keeping their local
calendar day, with the conversion recorded in the same atomic write.
Correct or re-import an already-wrong date per game. Unrelated saves and
delayed Steam lookups preserve active date edits; clearing still clears the
Game Info date. Steam's timezone notification refreshes mounted Game Info
dates using the current browser timezone, without rewriting saved metadata. - Library cards keep one compatibility indicator when Steam's native indicator
and Metadata's indicator appear together during navigation. Reloaded cards use
the current indicator. An update from an older loaded version can require one
Steam restart to refresh cached cards. - Turning trailers off stops unused monitoring and restores artwork. Turning
them on resumes one player, including when the Steam tab receives settings
through the plugin bridge. Other causes of scrolling lag can remain.
