  • Added experimental ligatures support. Currently the ligatures are assigned to feature “calt” and contains these feagures only: -> --> <- <-- <-> <!-- . Note that Iosevka does not contain "real" ligature glyphs, these figures are implemented using chained substitution and long dashes.

Iosevka provides a large vareity of variants.

• Shape: The shape of letter i and l.
  
• Spacing: How wide some specific characters are.
  • Default: The default variant with ligatures and semantic fullwidth glyphs.
  • Terminal: Exact monospaced font without ligatures and fullwidth glyphs. Since some environments cannot interpret Iosevka as monospaced, and have difficulties with ligatures included, you can use Iosevka Term as an alternative.
  • CC: Some of the symbols are enwiden to maintain compatibility with CJK typefaces. Ligatures are included.
• Slab: Whether the font is slab-serif.
• Ligatures: Whether the ligatures is included. The “no-ligature” variants are used for some Linux-based environments cannot handle ligatures correctly.
• Family Name: The family name of the font in your OS after installation. If two variants share the same family name, they cannot be installed together.
