UE5CEDumper v3686

UE5CEDumper — Unreal Engine 4/5 dumper (C++ DLL + Cheat Engine bridge + Avalonia UI).

About this release

A fix release. Calls from the UI and Cheat Engine always run on the game thread. The exports and Live Walker stop presenting a type definition, or the element you just left, as a live object. Both known issues of v3654 are resolved.

New

  • Live Walker's Functions list shows the functions a class gets through an interface, marked "(via InterfaceName)".
  • The SDK, CE XML, CSX and USMAP exports and CE Structure Dissect decode UE 4.11–4.17 asset pointers (TAssetPtr / TAssetSubclassOf).

Fixed

  • Function calls, toggles and teleports sent from the UI or Cheat Engine always run on the game thread, so they no longer fail now and then, or trip an engine check, by running on a worker thread.
  • Copy CE XML and the CSX export write a pointer to a class or struct type as a plain pointer instead of writable records over the type's own memory, and Live Walker and Instance Finder say when they show a type definition and give its rows no address to act on.
  • In Live Walker, going Back or jumping by breadcrumb into an array, map, set or DataTable view shows the owning object again, so the header's address buttons, Find Refs, bookmarks and the Functions list no longer act on the element you had just left.
  • A Console row's Run button runs that row's command instead of whichever row was selected.
  • On UE 5.8, Debug Camera turns on again after it has been turned off; every ON after the first OFF used to leave it off.
  • When the game is too busy to run a Debug Camera OFF at once, the UI and Cheat Engine say it did not complete and to send it again, instead of promising it would run later while the camera stayed on.
  • Live Walker's Copy CE Field fabricates array elements at the Fabricate count set in Options from the start, instead of none until the slider was moved.
  • On Development or Debug builds of UE 5.3+ games, Find References finds objects bound through a delegate field, which it used to miss.
  • CE Structure Dissect shows weak, soft and lazy pointers and a delegate's bound object in hex, and on Development or Debug builds of UE 5.3+ games its delegate rows show the bound object and invocation list instead of the 8 bytes in front of them.
  • UI tweaks and fixes.
  • Minor bug fixes.

After updating

ℹ️ If you use a proxy DLL, redeploy it from the Proxy Deploy tab: Cheat Engine tables made with this version refuse an older DLL, while tables you already have keep working with the new one.

ℹ️ Records already in a Cheat Engine table keep their old script: copy or push the Debug Camera, Fly, GodMode, Keep Foreground, See-through, Movement, Time and trainer TP records again, and re-run Tools → Add Auto Structure Dissect to Current CE Table and Tools → Inject Helper into Current CE Table.

Details for anyone who wants them: v3654…v3686

⚠ If anything regresses for you, fall back to v3654.

Setup

  • Deploy proxy DLL from UI's Proxy Deploy tab (recommended), inject via UI's Proxy Deploy tab (AntiVirus may block UI; add it to exclude list), inject via the bundled Cheat Engine table (UE5CEDumper.CT), or drop the proxy version.dll into the game's Binaries\Win64 (manual mode).
  • If neither version.dll nor dinput8.dll is loaded by your game, try dxgi.dll; if that filename is already taken (ReShade commonly uses it), try winmm.dll.
  • See README.md for details.

The exe is unsigned — Windows SmartScreen / antivirus may warn on first run. Verify the download with the included .sha256.
Inject scripts like inject-ue.ps1 or UE5DumpUI.exe may be labeled as a hacking tool by antivirus. Add them to your exclusion list, or review the code in this repository and compile it yourself.
