UE5CEDumper v3654

UE5CEDumper — Unreal Engine 4/5 dumper (C++ DLL + Cheat Engine bridge + Avalonia UI).

About this release

Call Trace gains a Bytes tab that reads a call's parameter bytes for you, function calls now pass a picked object into weak and soft pointer parameters and understand interfaces, and Ghostwire: Tokyo is read as UE 4.27.

New

  • Call Trace has a Bytes tab that reads a call's parameter bytes in 8-byte segments — as 32-bit integers and floats, a double and a ready-to-paste address — and names the parameters in each segment when the function's layout is known.
  • Copy CSV and Copy raw on the Bytes tab put the readings or the hex on the clipboard.

Fixed

  • Function calls pass a picked object into TWeakObjectPtr / TSoftObjectPtr / TSoftClassPtr parameters, struct members included; the function used to receive null while the call reported OK.
  • After a call, a weak or soft pointer result shows as the engine's {index, serial} pair instead of being read as an address.
  • An interface function can be called by name on a class that implements it, instead of failing with "Function not found".
  • Interface parameters are passed correctly, and an object that does not implement the interface is refused.
  • A Cheat Engine function-call form whose function was replaced while it was open (a reloaded Blueprint) asks you to re-open it instead of running the wrong function.
  • CE Structure Dissect shows a soft or lazy pointer field as a plain 8-byte value instead of a pointer to follow.
  • Ghostwire: Tokyo is read as UE 4.27 instead of falling back to UE 5.4.

Known issues

  • The UI's function lists do not show the functions a class gets from an interface yet; Cheat Engine can call them by name.
  • The SDK, CE XML, CSX and USMAP exports do not decode UE 4.11–4.17 asset pointers yet.

ℹ️ Before UE 5.8, an engine bug passes null to a native function's by-value TWeakObjectPtr parameter, whatever you send.

ℹ️ Every game re-detects its UE version once after this update.

ℹ️ A Cheat Engine table that already has Auto Structure Dissect keeps the old script; add it again from Tools → Add Auto Structure Dissect to Current CE Table.

⚠ Leave the UE version override on Auto unless detection is clearly wrong: a wrong version misreads data, and a function call built on it can crash the game.

ℹ️ If you use a proxy DLL, redeploy it from the Proxy Deploy tab: most of these fixes are in the DLL.

Details for anyone who wants them: v3649…v3654

⚠ If anything regresses for you, fall back to v3649.

Setup

  • Deploy proxy DLL from UI's Proxy Deploy tab (recommended), inject via UI's Proxy Deploy tab (AntiVirus may block UI; add it to exclude list), inject via the bundled Cheat Engine table (UE5CEDumper.CT), or drop the proxy version.dll into the game's Binaries\Win64 (manual mode).
  • If neither version.dll nor dinput8.dll is loaded by your game, try dxgi.dll; if that filename is already taken (ReShade commonly uses it), try winmm.dll.
  • See README.md for details.

The exe is unsigned — Windows SmartScreen / antivirus may warn on first run. Verify the download with the included .sha256.
Inject scripts like inject-ue.ps1 or UE5DumpUI.exe may be labeled as a hacking tool by antivirus. Add them to your exclusion list, or review the code in this repository and compile it yourself.
