AOBMaker v20260930
AOBMaker: an AutoAssembler script generator for Cheat Engine (Avalonia UI + CE plugin).
About this release
A bug-fix release, build 157, plus two small improvements. It holds every fix since v20260925.
It also ships the CE plugin fixes that the next UE5CEDumper release may use (table import, activation results, FindMostAccessed, request format). They have their own section below. If you use UE5CEDumper, update AOBMaker and its plugin first.
- The CE plugin changed. Copy the new
AOBMaker_CEPlugin.dllinto your Cheat Engine folder and restart CE. Update AOBMaker and the plugin together: an older plugin refuses a table that needs the new import features, and says which ones. - Generate these again: a Clamp w/ a bound derived by Add or Subtract (x64), the symbol scripts that the SymbolScan mode sends to CE, your AA Toggle scripts, and Multi-Record Apply lists made w/ Load Lua from a
.CT.
Fixed
- AA code migration (Relocation → migrate your own cave code): a proposal could silently change what the script does in the game. Lines of your own code were dropped or moved in front of the cave,
SYMBOL+N/return+Nkept the old offsets, restores that your old script left out came back, and the same spot could be patched twice. Each of these is now kept or refused, and the report says where each line goes. - Multi-Record Apply: Load Lua of a
.CTwrote&,<,>into game memory instead of&,<,>. The list name now survives a round trip, and a table that changed since the list was made is reconciled. - AA Toggle: clicking another toggle while one was still applying could leave a checkbox ticked w/ its records off, or the reverse.
- Pasting CE disassembly w/o the bytes column: the script came out w/ an empty AOB. In Mode D, AOBMaker now reads the bytes from the game and checks them against the paste; Offline says the bytes are needed.
- Clamp w/ a bound derived by Add or Subtract: on x64 the script did not assemble in CE.
- Offline, x64 code that uses only 32-bit registers (common in Unreal games, where CE puts the module name in quotes) was treated as 32-bit code.
- Injection Address: a short or partial address could silently land on a line of another module or class. AOBMaker now asks you to type more of the address.
- CT Stability: clicking Analyze while a re-attach was still finding the process reported a healthy table as broken. Closing the window during an attach left a process handle open.
- SymbolScan: it now says when CE did not register the symbol, instead of "sent to CE".
- Relocation: the top result could change w/ unrelated candidates, and a result could point one byte into the previous instruction.
- Sequence Scan: the hit count in the First Scan progress line was far too high (the results were right).
- Window position: a damaged or hand-edited saved window size could place the main window off screen.
For tools that call the CE plugin (e.g. UE5CEDumper)
- Importing a Cheat Table into CE: a table w/ folders that have no address was refused as a whole. It imports now, and these are kept as CE itself loads them: Binary bit fields, custom types, the child activation options, pointer offsets written as a symbol (e.g.
[base_offset]-20), the Array of Byte length and Async scripts. Before, a pointer w/ a symbol offset silently read the pointer field itself. - Activating a script: the plugin now reports whether CE really activated it.
- FindMostAccessed: a watch longer than 30 s was cut to 5 s. When the game exits or CE's debugger cannot attach, the reply now says so instead of "No accesses detected".
- Requests: requests w/ spaces, line breaks or sorted keys lost their lists; a numeric record type and a
nullparent were ignored; a group name could match a record deep inside another script; a failed create left an empty folder; a long import could be cleared by another tool after 10 minutes; a failed import reported 0 records. - AOBMaker's pipe: every request now gets a reply, also a malformed one. GenerateAob refuses an address that is not code.
Improved
- Relocation is about 10x faster: it scans only the game module, not the whole process.
- Clamp scripts are smaller: the min/max checks now use short jumps (2 bytes instead of 6) wherever the target is provably in range.
ℹ️ The code review continues. Rare, low-priority issues may still exist; fixes continue in the next releases.
⚠ If anything regresses for you, fall back to v20260925.
Setup
- Unzip anywhere. No installer, no runtime to install.
- Run
AOBMaker.UI.exe. Unprotected games usually work w/o admin. If attach or memory reads fail, run it as administrator. - (optional) Copy
AOBMaker_CEPlugin.dllinto your Cheat Engine folder, then enable it in CE: Settings → Plugins. - See
User-Guide.mdin the archive for details.
The exe is unsigned. Windows SmartScreen or antivirus may warn on first run. Double check the download w/ the included
