@ineffyable has released batectify, a tool to convert configuration files from other tools to batect's format. Check it out at https://batectify.enchanting.dev.
-
batect now has a Spectrum community where you can chat with other users.
What's been fixed
-
batect will now show a clear error message when using it with an incompatible version of Docker (currently anything older than v17.06).
-
The issue where
.dockerignore
files were incorrectly applied has been fixed, as has the issue where Dockerfiles in non-standard locations could be incorrectly excluded from the build context when a.dockerignore
was being used. (#113 - thanks to @cazgp for the feedback)
Getting started
First time using batect? Take a look at the getting started guide, or the many sample projects.
How to upgrade from previous versions
If you're already using batect, run ./batect --upgrade
to upgrade automatically.
