Fixes
- Wake-on-LAN on Fedora:
ether-wakedefaults toeth0; the interface that routes to the TV is now looked up automatically. HDMI_INPUTat boot: setting the input is retried while the TV is still booting after Wake-on-LAN (power mode).- Updating from older versions: config keys missing from a preserved older
lgpowercontrol.confnow fall back to their defaults instead of failing the services. - update.sh aborts early with a clear message when LGPowerControl is not installed.
- The notify service exits cleanly when "Turn off screen" is disabled in Plasma, instead of warning about a TV-off that never happens.
Improvements
- Cleaner suspend/resume logging: the DRM monitor no longer sends a doomed duplicate TV-off during the suspend window, and a successful wake after retries is now logged.
lgpowercontrolprints a usage line when called with a missing or unknown argument.- The installer runs pacman non-interactively, like apt and dnf.
- Clearer mode documentation in
lgpowercontrol.conf, including a note that some models (e.g. OLED42C35LA) drop into a deeper standby ~10 minutes after screen-off; also added to README Limitations.
Updating
sudo /opt/lgpowercontrol/update.shSettings and TV pairing survive the update.
