Plugins install themselves. With plugin_packages in the config, cf now installs them the first time an enabled plugin is missing and then continues, so a fresh install or a uv tool upgrade compose-farm no longer needs cf plugins install. Controlled by the new plugin_auto_install option (default true).
- One attempt per process; a failure stops the command with the reason and a pointer to cf plugins install.
- Installer output goes to stderr, so scripted output such as cf list --simple stays clean. The notice names the missing plugins, not the package URLs, which can hold credentials.
- The web UI installs missing plugins only at startup, since an install during a request would block it. After adding a plugin, restart it or run cf plugins install.
- Any command that loads the config can now install packages, including read-only ones and a compose-farm.yaml in the current directory. Set plugin_auto_install: false if you run cf next to configs you don't trust.
The Docker image includes uv and uvx. commands plugin steps can run scripts with uv run --script path.py, also as a non-root user (the uv cache lives in /tmp/uv-cache). Scripts that start with #!/usr/bin/env -S uv run --script need the next patch release.

Website links for routers without entrypoints use https://. Such routers use Traefik's default entrypoints, which include websecure in a TLS setup. This affects the web UI's "Open Website" button; routers that list only web still get http://.
