This is a hotfix version based on 1.10.0
Bugs Fixed
- Fixed Crashes During STEP File Import:Resolved an issue where some users experienced crashes when importing STEP files. We also improved the UI for the STEP import parameter settings panel to avoid layout issues on some Mac models. Special thanks to @benjaminkott for identifying and helping resolve this issue.(#5816 ,#5819 ,#5192 ,#5198,#5199 ,#5197 ,#5203 ,#5208 ,#5210 ,#5218 ,#5222 ,#5225 ,#5243 ,#5248)
- Improved Performance on Intel Mac After Slicing:Fixed an issue where the interface response time slowed significantly after slicing on some Mac models with Intel CPUs. Special thanks to @HO44-PROJECT, @northdakota and other users for their assistance and verification. We also added an “Enable multi instance rendering by OpenGL” option in Preferences; if you still experience performance drops, try disabling this option.(#5194 ,#5237 ,#5200 ,#5247 ,#5244 ,#5223 )
- Fixed Printer Temperature Display Delay:Resolved an issue where the printer’s temperature display was incorrect or delayed.(#5216,#5196)
- Improved Stop Printing Popup Message:Updated the message in the stop printing popup for clearer communication.
- Disabled Default Scarf Seam Option:Based on our tests of the Scarf Seam effect and optimal parameters for PLA materials, the Scarf Seam feature and some parameters were initially set as filament attributes and enabled by default for most PLA materials in the V1.10.0 Public Release. However, after release, it was observed that contour angle detection may vary depending on the model, causing inconsistent seam quality along the Z-axis. As shown below, areas with the Scarf Seam applied had a smoother surface, while regions without it displayed inferior quality. The seam inconsistencies at the border between regions created an uneven surface effect. In the future versions, we will optimize the Scarf Seam function to maintain consistent outer surface print quality along a single line.
