What's New in v0.28.29

A patch release: plan review now opens on OpenCode 2, a DOMPurify security update, and two skill fixes. (v0.28.28 was never published; its release was stopped by the security check this update fixes.)

Plannotator

Plan review works on OpenCode 2

On OpenCode 2, the plan agent wrote its plan into the chat and never sent it for review. OpenCode 2 adds its own Plan mode note telling the model to discuss the plan in the conversation, and Plannotator didn't recognize that wording. Plannotator now replaces the note, so the plan agent calls submit_plan and the review opens. Tested on OpenCode 2.0.19 and 2.1.2. OpenCode 1 is unchanged.

Smaller changes

  • Closing a review without feedback stops the agent on every agent, not only Claude Code. Closing is not approval. #2099, closing #2097
  • The visual-explainer skill asks before installing its third-party dependency. #2099, closing #2098
  • DOMPurify 3.4.17 fixes a critical sanitizer advisory (GHSA-cg2g-xh64-v4q7). Mermaid's copy is updated too. #2104
  • Guided Reviews can carry an overview with an optional diagram (guide format version 2). Nothing creates one yet; this is groundwork. Existing guides are unchanged. #2095

Install / Update

macOS / Linux:

Windows: 

irm https://plannotator.ai/install.ps1 | iex

Claude Code Plugin: The plugin and the plannotator binary update separately, so run the install script above as well. In a terminal: 

claude plugin marketplace update plannotator
claude plugin update plannotator@plannotator

Then restart Claude Code. Inside Claude Code, run /plugin marketplace update plannotator, then open /plugin → Installed → plannotator → Update now.

Pi: 

pi update --extensions

OpenCode: Re-run the install script above. It now also clears the OpenCode 2 plugin cache.
