Action items

An agent can ask you to go do something: run a command, sign in somewhere, check a page. It shows as a card in the thread with Done, Can't do it and Add note, and your answer goes back to the agent.

Reply drafts

What you type in a reply box is kept per thread. It comes back when you reopen the thread, after a reload, and after a restart. A thread with an unsent draft is marked Draft in the list.

Replies to a busy agent go in on their own

If the agent is in a long turn, the line under your reply shows how long it has waited, and after 5 minutes the reply goes into the running turn by itself, as if you'd pressed Send now.

Plannotator

One decision button for plan review

Plan review's header now works like annotate and code review. With nothing to send it shows Approve. Once you add comments it becomes Send Feedback. Other choices, such as Request changes or Approve with notes, are under the arrow.

Enter to save a comment

Turn on Settings → General → Enter saves a comment, and Enter saves while Shift+Enter adds a new line. It's off by default.

Your own code font

Settings → Display → Code Font → Custom… takes the name of any font on your machine for code review.

Start a new Ask AI chat

A New chat button clears the Ask AI panel and starts fresh, in plan review, annotate and code review.

Jump between changes in code review

N and P jump to the next and previous change. Commenting from the gutter now covers every line you selected, not just the one you clicked.

macOS / Linux:

Claude Code Plugin: The plugin and the plannotator binary update separately, so run the install script above as well. In a terminal:

claude plugin marketplace update plannotator
claude plugin update plannotator@plannotator

Then restart Claude Code. Inside Claude Code, run /plugin marketplace update plannotator, then open /plugin → Installed → plannotator → Update now.

Pi:

pi update --extensions

OpenCode: Re-run the install script above. It now also clears the OpenCode 2 plugin cache.
