What's New in v0.28.14

(There is no 0.28.13 release: its tag carried an incomplete version bump and was cancelled before anything was published.)

An Inbox release: agents can replace a question you haven't answered yet, you can comment on a guided review's code, and issue numbers in messages link to the project's repository.

An agent can replace an earlier question

When you change direction while an earlier question is still waiting, the agent can now mark that question as replaced instead of leaving it open. The old card stays in the thread, greyed, with "Replaced" and a link to the new question. Any pick you saved on it is shown as "Not sent" and never goes to the agent. If a question is withdrawn with nothing new asked, the card reads "No longer applies". If a question is replaced while you are writing your reply, a note appears before Send so a stale answer doesn't go out.

Agents mark it with a Replaces: <message id>/<key> line in the new question, or supersedes on the Inbox tool. An id that doesn't name an open question in the thread is refused, and the agent is shown the thread's open questions.

Comment on a guided review in the Inbox

Guided reviews in the Inbox were read-only. Now you comment on their code the way you do in code review: click a line number, drag across lines, or select code. Your comments sit in a panel beside the guide and in the thread's annotation count, and they go out with your reply in code review's format (file, lines, the quoted code and your comment).

Additional Changes

• Issue numbers link. #123 in an Inbox message, or in an attached Markdown file, now links to the issue in the project's GitHub or GitLab repository. Folders without a git remote show it as plain text, as before (#1842, fixing #1840)
• Phone apps groundwork. The relay can deliver Android notifications through Firebase, and the Inbox screen the phone apps embed works on Android and draws diffs on Android WebView 123 and 124 (#1836, #1837, #1839)

Claude Code Plugin: The plugin and the plannotator binary update separately, so run the install script above as well. In a terminal:

claude plugin marketplace update plannotator
claude plugin update plannotator@plannotator

Then restart Claude Code. Inside Claude Code, run /plugin marketplace update plannotator, then open /plugin → Installed → plannotator → Update now.

Pi:

pi update --extensions

OpenCode: Re-run the install script above. It now also clears the OpenCode 2 plugin cache.

• @timmo001 reported that issue numbers in Inbox messages were styled as links but not clickable in #1840, with the exact cause traced in the code.
• An Inbox user who changed direction mid-thread asked for a way to retire an outdated question, which became "Replaced".
• A user who could not comment on guided reviews in the Inbox, which led to #1843.
