v0.50.2 brings simpler limit extension, more RTSS statistics and improved recovery,
alongside refinements to tuning, profiles and everyday usability.
Tuning and limits
- Added Direct to Extend limits, allowing supported limits to be changed without a BIOS file. The BIOS-file method remains available on supported drivers. Neither method flashes the card's BIOS.
- Added NVVDD ceiling and MSVDD ceiling controls where supported, expanded limit guidance and updated the Extend limits layout.
- Improved switching between limit methods, preserving entries as editable drafts across restarts.
- Improved Apply and Reset All ordering, V/F curve preservation and restoration after failed changes.
- Improved handling of external clock locks, unavailable readings and temporarily unavailable driver controls, including misleading reset and recovery messages.
Recovery and startup
- Added a startup recovery option for removing stored overrides, with Restart Windows / Later actions.
- Improved recovery from interrupted limit changes and removals in the interface and command line, including retry handling and selection of the correct GPU in multi-GPU systems.
- Improved handling of driver resets during tuning and recovery, with manual retry available after reconnection.
Interface and profiles
- Added
active_profileto--statusJSON, allowing scripts to check the applied profile name, including presets that differ only by V/F curves. Changed settings report"Custom"; unverifiable state reportsnull. - Added independent visibility controls for the NVVDD and MSVDD overvoltage rows, with navigation to the correct setting.
- Added mouse-wheel navigation for long profile menus without applying a profile while scrolling.
- Fixed power-slider ranges above 100% and improved XBAR, SYS and Video slider synchronization.
- Improved window sizing and positioning across display and scaling changes, and corrected range-separator alignment in Minimal / Compact.
- Reworded hover help throughout the application with shorter, clearer explanations, including temperature readings and thermal controls.
Telemetry and RTSS
- Added RTSS options for FPS, frame time, average FPS, 1% low and 0.1% low. Average and low statistics use RTSS benchmark recording.
- Grouped RTSS settings by reading type and added an overlay preview.
- Added an optional shunt multiplier under Advanced tuning to correct supported power and current displays, including RTSS.
- Renamed Silicon binning to ASIC information, clarified Speedo labels and added a copyable ECID where available.
Compatibility and validation
- Expanded support for older GPU voltage controls, voltage ranges, Speedo readings and ADC telemetry.
See the user guide for setup and the BIOS-copy guide when using a BIOS file.
