  • Amazon ElastiCache Serverless now supports public endpoints for Valkey caches. With the new Connection Type parameter, you can create a serverless cache accessible over the internet without any VPC configuration. Public endpoint caches require IAM authentication.

  • Adds the LaunchStatus field to CapacityReservation in the DescribeCapacityReservations response. This field indicates whether you can currently launch instances into an UltraServer.
