AWS CloudTrail

• Features

  • Adds support for the RecursiveLogging trail setting, which suppresses recursive events generated when CloudTrail delivers logs to a trail's destinations.

AWS S3 Control

• Features

  • Adds support for Amazon S3 Object Lock variable retention. Existing S3 APIs that support S3 Object Lock parameters now support two new parameters EventHold and EventHoldDuration at the object level, and DefaultEventHoldDuration at the bucket level.

AWS SDK for Java v2

• Features

  • Updated endpoint and partition metadata.

• Bugfixes

  • Prevent AsyncResponseTransformer.toFile from deleting a pre-existing destination when a request fails before the SDK opens the file. Calls using CREATE_NEW now preserve the existing file and surface FileAlreadyExistsException instead of allowing a retry to overwrite it.

Amazon Appflow

• Features

  • Amazon AppFlow now supports key pair (RSA private key) authentication for the Snowflake connector. You can provide a privateKey in SnowflakeConnectorProfileCredentials, and password is no longer required. This is a non-breaking, additive change available via the AWS SDK and CLI.
