What's Changed
Fixes and improvements
- CloudFormation (
CidExec): parameters no longer leak between dashboard deployments in a warm Lambda container. Before, a dashboard could inherit another dashboard's parameters, such asrls-dataset-id, and fail to create (#1542, 6b1a693) - AWS Cost Anomalies: the
ca_summary_viewdataset now gets a daily refresh schedule. Existing deployments need a one-time manual schedule, see #1543 (#1543, 296e8ab) - Sharing:
share-with-account yes|nois now applied on update as well. Usecid-cmd update --share-with-account yes|no, or setshare-with-accounton aCustom::CidDashboardresource;norevokes sharing with everyone in the account.cid-cfn.yml's stack-wideShareDashboardis still applied on create only (#1544, 6eaeda7) - Unattended mode (
-y,CidExec): missing parameters that have a default now use it instead of failing with "Please set parameter" (#1546, a752f7c) cid-plugin.yml: new optionalParametersinput (a JSON object) to pass anycid-cmdparameter, e.g.{"rls-dataset-id": "my-rls"}. Requirescid-cfn4.4.18 or later (#1546, a752f7c)- Dashboard update: taxonomy fields that the datasets don't have yet are skipped with a warning, instead of creating
COLUMN_NOT_FOUNDfilters. Usecid-cmd update --recursivein a terminal to add new tags to views and datasets (#1549, 92185f6) --on-drift override: in a terminal, existing views are now replaced as documented. Without a terminal, existing views are kept (#1550, 92185f6)- FOCUS: passing
resource-tagsnow builds valid SQL, and unknown tag names are skipped with a warning (#1551, 209e9a3)
Upgrade note: callers of the exported cid-CidExecArn must pass every parameter a dashboard needs that has no default. Values left over from earlier deployments are no longer reused.
