Claude Opus 4.8 support — Anthropic's most intelligent model is now usable directly from the app. Opus 4.8 ships with adaptive thinking, configurable effort levels, and the same 1M-token context as Opus 4.7.

What's new

• ✨ Claude Opus 4.8 — new model type, ID detection (claude-opus-4-8), and inference range
• 🧠 Adaptive thinking on 4.8 — sends reasoning_config.type=adaptive + output_config.effort (high / medium / low / xhigh / max), the only mode 4.8 accepts
• 🛠️ Bug fix — resolves "thinking.type.enabled" is not supported for this model 400 errors when targeting Opus 4.7+ models
