What's New
Two new opt-in features. Every new option defaults to the current behavior, so nothing changes until you turn it on.
Pruning history
The recent_entries table no longer has to grow without limit.
max_stored_itemskeeps only each user's most recent entries.prune_after_daysremoves old entries through Laravel'smodel:prune.
Hiding deleted records
With track_records enabled, entries for records that have since been deleted are hidden from the menu and global search, so they no longer lead to a "not found" page. Set include_trashed_records to keep showing soft-deleted records.
Important
track_records needs a new migration. If you're upgrading, publish and run it before turning the option on:
php artisan vendor:publish --tag="recently-migrations"
php artisan migrateSee Configuration for details.
Huge thanks to @MACscr, whose proposals in #39 and #40 shaped both features. 🙏
