New stable release of WebOne, released on 22 Oct 2026 after 38 commits.

This is a major update, adding many new features. Existing features are also improved.

• Now using .NET 10.0 instead of .NET 8.0.
• Windows 8+, Debian 12+, Ubuntu 22.04+, Fedora 42+, macOS 14+ are minimal system versions to run WebOne. Windows 11 or latest Linux/macOS is recommended.
• Can be rebuilt for Windows 7, macOS 10.14, Ubuntu 18.04 manually from sources using older .NET 6.0 SDK.
• Added fixes for Old-Games.su display and work.
• Added fix for CSS garbage in Netscape 1/2/3.x and Mosaic.
• Fixed image content type detection.
• Fixed SVG images converting for Netscape, Firefox, MSIE.
• Fixed some 403 and 404 errors in Retro Online Video Player.
• Added mini video player for embedded YouTube videos (using ROVP technology). RuTube is also supported.
• Updated visual style of Retro Online Video Player.
• The title bar now displays active and keep-alive connections separately.
• Added ability to optionally run WebOne only on particular network interface. Set IP option in configuration file to limit listening to a single IP address. By default WebOne is still listening on all network interfaces.
• Added ability to create custom variable strings in traffic edit sets. This may be used to specify User-Agent strings of modern browsers and easier keep them up to date (useful for fooling modern web servers). Or to extract parts of HTTP headers values using regular expressions.
• Added ability to enable some traffic edits sets only for particular users (if the proxy is password protected). Use OnUser condition and %ProxyUserName% variable string.
• Added AddRequestHttpVersion traffic edit action, allowing specifying the version of HTTP(S) protocol in remote connections. It is similar to RemoteHttpVersion option of [Server] configuration, but is used via traffic edit set only for limited range of domains.
• Added AddResponseHttpVersion traffic edit action, allowing set response HTTP protocol version in case when it's need.
• List of code pages is now sorted and easier to read.
• Added support to specify set of code pages available for clients. Use CodepageCulture configuration option for this. It's no longer required to configure server OS to enable correct code pages for non-English clients that using pre-Unicode browsers.
• Added CodepageANSI/CodepageASCII/CodepageMac/CodepageEBCDIC configuration options to manually specify single byte code pages for non-UTF8 clients in rare cases when CodepageCulture doesn't give expected result.
• Added AddDebugPrint traffic edit action allowing printing strings to WebOne log and traffic dump (if it is enabled). This action rule should help in debugging traffic edit sets.
• Configuration files now can contain options (or traffic edit sets rules) with values, enclosed in quotes (option="value" or even option="param1","param2").
• Comments after line end are also supported: option="value" ;text comment.
• Obsolete, and de-facto dysfunctional since v0.17, PageStyleCss and PageStyleHtml configuration options are removed.
• Obsolete SecurityProtocols configuration option is removed (it's broken in .NET 10).
• Errors (if any) in WebOne configuration files are now more strictly processed.
