BBS Reloaded 1.0.0 is out of beta. Thank you to everyone who tested and reported issues. This release focuses on reliability and trustworthy numbers.
- Some phones clear Android's battery statistics daily. BBS now detects this and shows stats "since reset" instead of empty tabs and a missing graph (this is a workaround to validate that the issue is understood)
- The default comparison follows your latest "Unplugged", and a charge that happened while monitoring was not running is picked up when you open the app
- "Share to file" now matches the From/To window you selected, with both timestamps and the period
- New: "Charging since…" notice, and battery temperature, cycles and health in the Overview and the notification
- Status bar readable in light theme, "From" selector no longer cut off, "Reset hints" gives feedback, release notes show only the changes
- Missing app icons in Power fixed; empty tabs no longer wrongly ask you to check permissions
- More robust background service: crash-proofing, a cancelled stuck battery-stats dump, restart on app start

Installation
1. Install the APK
Download the .apk file attached below and install it on your device (Android 13 or newer).
2. Grant required permissions via ADB
Connect your device to a computer and run:
adb shell pm grant com.asksven.bbsreloaded android.permission.BATTERY_STATS
adb shell pm grant com.asksven.bbsreloaded android.permission.DUMP
adb shell pm grant com.asksven.bbsreloaded android.permission.PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS
adb shell pm grant com.asksven.bbsreloaded android.permission.INTERACT_ACROSS_USERSThese permissions cannot be granted at runtime — ADB is required.
3. Automatic updates with Obtainium
Install Obtainium and add this repository for automatic update notifications:
