Release Notes for v2.1.0:
Fix hang when there is an error moving unreferenced media file(s).
In very rare cases, some users reported the Pro7 Media Sweeper app would hang while moving unreferenced media files. This was caused by an error when trying to move unreferenced media files. I did not manage to reproduce the issue, but the error is now caught, the offending file is skipped, and the app will finish (i.e. it won't hang).
If an error occurs trying to move files or trying to parse the Pro7 files, they are reported to the user after the sweep operation is finished.
Changes since v2.0.0 release:
- Address issue some users may have when moving unreferenced media files fails.
If there is an error moving a media file, the error is caught and logged. - Notify user of errors moving files in the pop-up at the end of a sweep.
- Notify user of errors parsing Pro7 files in the pop-up at the end of a sweep.
- Add more detail to log to indicate start/end of steps of the sweep process.
- Add more live status indicators showing which file is being moved (usually this is so fast, it's not seen in the UI).
