This decision was made because uYouEnhanced and other similar tweaks have been subject to DMCA takedowns by Google. As a result, IPA files cannot be publicly released or hosted on this platform. Please read the Wiki - Building guide for building your own uYouEnhanced ipa.
What's Big in 21.20.4-3.0.5 🚀
uYou Downloads Actually Complete Now | The download pipeline was reworked again and this time it's solid: video downloads finish (with audio muxed when available) and audio-only downloads land as real audio files instead of silent video. Also fixed the "unsupported URL" (-1002) failures on newer YouTube builds, fixed the uYou button crashing on the new Shorts button interface, and swapped uYou's old MobileFFmpeg framework for FFmpegKitNext 9.0.0 for faster, more reliable muxing/converting.
Note: this still relies on SABR downloading via YouMod, and Shorts downloading remains broken for now (crash was only fixed for stability for uYouEnhanced).
uYouEnhanced Debug Logs | A new uYouEnhanced Debug Logs button in Settings exports a full, timestamped log of tweak activity one of the most useful additions yet for diagnosing and reporting problems. Log contents will vary with the YouTube version you're on and could be very useful for bug reports!
iOS 26.5 SDK | Switched the build SDK from 18.6 to 26.5 (originally planned for 21.14.4-3.0.5) and fixed everything in uYouEnhanced that broke with the newer SDK. Warning: Do not use the iOS 27+ SDKs as they are not supported/buildable for uYouEnhanced atm, which includes tweaks like Alderis color picker.
YouMod 2.0.0 Migration | The YouMod migration was updated from 1.3.0 to 2.0.0 (YouMod is by @Tonwalter888 — please show them support!). It is not backwards compatible and things are very different this time, so if you migrated on 1.3.0, but still use uYouEnhanced then please migrate again in this release.
Lots of Polish & Fixes | 25 issues solved in total, outdated uYouEnhanced options modernized, a reimagined Red Progress Bar toggle (YouSlider-based), the Credits screen evolved, YTHoldForSpeed restored, the YouTube Sign-In Patch is now always-on (no longer a toggle), and stale hooks for classes removed from modern YouTube were cleaned up.
uYouEnhanced Features
- Notifications Tab | Restores the pre-2020 Pivot Bar Notifications tab with customization options, now with position control.
- BackUp & Restore PLUS Settings | Copy/paste your tweak settings via clipboard or file, including tweak-compatible extras beyond uYouPlus.
- uYouEnhanced Debug Logs | Export a detailed activity log straight from Settings to help troubleshoot and report issues.
- BigYTMiniPlayer | Brings back the classic big mini player bar with video info on iPhone (and works on the modern YouTube mini player too).
- Red Progress Bar | A reimagined red progress bar, rebuilt from YouSlider-based code (conflicts with YouSlider — only one can be enabled).
- YouTimeStamp | Copy the video URL with the exact timestamp for easy sharing.
- Low Contrast Mode | Dims labels and icons for a less bright interface (specific app versions only).
- Fake YouTube Premium | Premium-style logo and buttons for a premium appearance.
- No Heatwaves | Removes the heatwave effect in the video player.
- No Upgrade Dialog | Disables YouTube's update prompts.
- App Settings Overlay Options | Hide sections like Account, Autoplay, and more.
- App Version Spoofer | Spoof the app version number when needed.
- uYou 3.0.5 (Unofficial, downloads fixed) | All original uYou download features (video/audio downloads, conversion, metadata) are now powered by uYouEnhanced's reworked download pipeline, with FFmpegKitNext 9.0.0 handling muxing and conversion.
