uYouEnhanced Features

uYouEnhanced brings a variety of new features and improvements to the original uYouPlus/uYou app. Here's a breakdown of what each feature does:

Notifications Tab: Restores the old Notifications Tab from the Pivot Bar with multiple customization options. Functions similarly to how it worked before its removal in 2020.

BackUp & Restore PLUS Settings: Allows you to copy and save your app settings using Copy Settings and Paste Settings with additional features and tweak-compatible that’s not in uYouPlus. Like usual, you can store these in your clipboard or file manager and restore them from a text file.

No Modern UI (Deprecated): Hides newer UI elements such as rounded buttons and the red progress bar. Also removes the app version number display. NoModernUI is marked deprecated as of doing this release, the option is still available as of the 20.44.2-3.0.4 release.

YouTimeStamp: Adds a button to copy the video URL with the exact timestamp for easy sharing.

Low Contrast Mode: Dims labels and icons for a less bright interface. Works only with specific youtube app versions.

Fake YouTube Premium: Changes the YouTube logo to the Premium version and adds fake premium buttons for a premium‑style appearance.

No Heatwaves: Removes the heatwave effect in the video player.

No Upgrade Dialog: Disables YouTube’s update prompts.

No Fullscreen Actions: Allows hiding all video player buttons when watching in fullscreen on iPhone.

Hide iSponsorBlock Button: Removes the iSponsorBlock button from the navigation bar.

App Settings Overlay Options: Lets you hide sections like Account, Autoplay, and more. Some settings may cause issues if enabled.

Hide Shadow Overlay Buttons: Removes the circular shadow overlays on play, pause, and navigation buttons. Note that this doesn’t work well in modern / newer yt versions.

App Version Spoofer: Lets you spoof the app version number. Supports versions from 19.01.1 to at least 21.08.3. Spoofing may cause issues depending on the version used.

Current App Compatibility: iOS/iPadOS 16.0 or later.
uYou v3.0.4 recommends at least v19.21.2 or later & iOS/iPadOS 15.0 or later.

  • Improved button hiding, though button gaps may still appear.

  • Added Bold Outline (2024+) style

uYouEnhanced Known Issues ⚠️

• Hiding buttons under the video player stopped working due to a server‑side change (May 14th 2024)
• uYouLocalization is not fully functional
• Hide Community Posts may break the feed
  • workaround: turn it off
• Changing the App Icon is currently not working
• Playing videos in fullscreen on an iPad may cause a crash (uYou 3.0.2+ issue)
  • workaround: turn off Playback Speed Controls in uYou Settings
