This updates brings 1 breaking change and 1 critical bug fix. I strongly recommend you update as soon as possible to resolve the critical bug fix.

Breaking change

The format for GOG.com cookie has changed to plain JSON. Wiki has instructions to help you migrate.

Critical bug fix

v1.2.5 resolves a critical issue where expired session would result in user not being able to login again. vangogh creates sessions for 90 days, so there's a chance you would start seeing the issues later this week. After you upgrade to v1.2.5 - no more action needed, you'll be able to login as normally (and should be able to re-login after 90 days).

Future plans

I'm currently working on adding support for Steam DRM-free games to vangogh and theo - which would be the next big feature for both. Highly likely to pick up either Cloud Saves or Epic Games after that. Happy 2026!
