github arcusmaximus/YTSubConverter 1.3.6

latest releases: 1.6.3, 1.6.2, 1.6.1...
  • Subtitles that are displayed simultaneously and don't have a \pos tag will no longer overlap. (YTSubConverter will now automatically place them above each other like in Aegisub)
  • Having multiple \t tags on the same attribute over the same time range (but for different pieces of text) now works correctly.
  • Subtitles that switch to a different font or font size at a line break no longer have broken background boxes. (Workaround for YouTube bug)
  • Ruby text now works with karaoke. (However, highlighting individual kana above a kanji is still not possible)
  • Subtitles that use ruby text at the beginning no longer get a random "x".
  • \ytruby can now be used to switch to a different ruby position in the middle of the line.
  • Simple karaoke (no animations, no ruby, fully transparent secondary color) will now use YouTube's native karaoke support, meaning there won't be an empty background box for the unsung text anymore (even on mobile).
  • Invisible text is now automatically made black so it also won't show on Android (which ignores transparency).
  • The default font size is now explicitly written to the .ytt file to overrule any custom size viewers might have set in their subtitle options (as this is usually set by accident).
