Rejoice, for YouTube has finally (finally) fixed the subtitle rendering bug it introduced last year! Thanks to this, the following is now possible again:
- Freely mixing all available styling options in one line. (Previously it wasn't possible to, say, mark one word in bold.)
- Freely mixing multiple colors in one line without getting artifacts on mobile or off-center text.
What's more, they added some new functionality (but only on PC):
- Custom font sizes
- Subscript and superscript
- Ruby text
- Vertical text
YTSubConverter 1.3.0 offers all of these, in addition to the following improvements:
- YouTube's fourth shadow type "Bevel" is now available.
- It's no longer required to have an ampersand (&) at the end of hexadecimal numbers such as color codes.
{\ytshake}
and{\ytchroma}
no longer require a{\pos}
tag to work.{\ytktGlitch}
now works with current syllable highlighting.
