Priorities sync instantly, and a frozen device can now explain itself.
On the device
If it ever freezes, it tells us why. The device watches its own main
loop. If the loop stops answering, the device records which step it was
stuck in — into memory the reset button does not clear. The next start
writes a small report to flowe-diag.txt on the card. You prepare
nothing; if something goes wrong, that file is simply there. Send it to
us and it usually contains the whole answer.
The boot log names its build. The first thing the device prints is
its version and exact commit, so a report can always say what it runs.
A card speed test. The dev console command sdtest reads a book for
three seconds and prints the speed. A slow or failing SD card explains
more field problems than anything else, and now it is one number.
In the apps (0.6.5, Android and iOS together)
Priorities sync instantly. Adding, renaming, checking off, deleting
or reordering a priority on the phone updates the device within a
second or two — no "Send to Device" needed. The device also catches up
on its own when it reconnects after sleeping. Thanks to

Steadier Bluetooth when switching devices. The last remaining case
where an old device's failed connection could confuse a new one is
closed.
Android 0.6.5 is rolling out on the Play closed test now, and the APK is
attached below. iOS 0.6.5 is built and on its way through TestFlight.
Install
- Browser (easiest): open https://www.flowe.ink/flash in Chrome or
Edge, plug in USB-C, and press Update Flowe. Keeps your pairing and
your books. If your screen was stuck after a flash, the same page now
has "Read device report" — it reads the freeze record over USB and
sends us the report. - microSD card: download flowe-firmware.zip, copy update.bin to the
root of the card, reinsert it, then hold the left side button and
power until the update screen appears.
