- Suspends client polling while backoff is active to prevent request storms.
- Preserves the last known client states during temporary router failures.
- Automatically resumes normal polling after the router recovers.
- Adds backoff information to Home Assistant diagnostics.
- Prevents LuCI session tokens and request URLs from appearing in logs.
Validation
The HTTP 500 backoff was successfully tested with v3.12.1-beta.2 on a live five-node Deco mesh.
