github amosyuen/ha-tplink-deco v3.11.0
v3.11.0 - Session resilience and client device linking control

latest release: v3.11.1-beta.1

Changes

  • Added an option to disable MAC-based linking between Deco client trackers and Home Assistant device entries.
  • MAC-based linking remains enabled by default, preserving existing configurations.
  • Client trackers retain their entity IDs and MAC state attributes when linking is disabled.
  • Leftover client device entries can be removed manually while actual Deco devices remain protected.

Reliability

  • Preserves valid Deco sessions during temporary transport errors.
  • Avoids unnecessary logins that could contribute to session exhaustion.
  • Automatically recovers stale sessions rejected with HTTP 401/403.
  • Recovers encrypted legacy sessions after empty or invalid encrypted responses.

Compatibility

Existing configurations keep their current behaviour unless MAC-based client device linking is explicitly disabled.
