Changes

• The per-Deco Connected clients sensor now counts online clients only.
• Offline clients retained by the integration are no longer included in the connected-client total.
• Restore-state handling now uses the new Home Assistant API when available.
• Compatibility is retained with supported Home Assistant versions before 2026.11.

Fixes

• Fixes incorrect connected-client totals reported in #593.
• Prevents restore-state compatibility problems with Home Assistant 2026.11 reported in #594.

Testing

Tested on a live four-node Deco installation. Deco and client polling completed successfully without any tplink_deco errors, warnings, exceptions, or failed updates.
