Music on Your Lock Screen

• Wallpapers now react to your music — a live gradient built from the current track's artwork plays on both your desktop and lock screen
• Works with Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, and any browser media (YouTube, SoundCloud, …) via the system Now Playing — artwork and transport controls included
• Per-source control: choose exactly which apps and browsers trigger music sync; only installed apps are shown

Light Sync — Ambient Lighting (Beta)

• Mirror your wallpaper's colors onto your lights in real time, sampled into 16 zones across the active wallpaper
• WLED strips are fully supported over local Wi-Fi
• Early Philips Hue support via the Entertainment API — pair your Bridge in Settings → Light Sync
• A live on-screen preview lets you see the effect with no hardware at all, plus brightness and flicker-smoothing controls

Playlists & Scheduling

• Lock screen wallpapers are now prepared on the server, so most installs skip the heavy on-device transcoding entirely

• Browse, buy, and download community-made wallpapers right into your library
• Creators can publish wallpapers, track earnings, and request payouts (bank transfer, PayPal, and more)
• Sign in with a simple email code — your account ties together purchases, license, and creator payouts

Behind the Scenes

• App ↔ server requests are now cryptographically signed (HMAC + Ed25519) to keep the API secure

Bug Fixes

Wallpapers

• Live wallpapers now resize to fit instantly when you change a display's resolution, scaling, or arrangement, instead of staying the wrong size until you reconnect the display
• Your last-applied wallpaper now restores per-monitor on launch and when displays are connected or rearranged — after a reboot it restores from a local cached copy, so it works even with no network, and skips anything whose cached file is missing
• Wallpaper cards now use a fixed 16:9 thumbnail like the website, so previews are no longer stretched or cropped inconsistently
• The Home carousels now use the same card style as the main grid, fixing inconsistent sizing between the two
• The Home hero carousel only shows public library videos once your online library has loaded, so private or local-only clips no longer slip into the showcase

Performance & Battery

• The battery monitor now reacts only to actual battery↔power transitions, instead of reconfiguring quality.
• Your pause state now persists across restarts, and applying a wallpaper yourself always overrides the auto-pause
• A fullscreen video on a secondary display now pauses the wallpaper on just that display, even while you work on another screen

Stability & Startup

• The app now opens within seconds even when our servers are unreachable, instead of hanging on the loading screen
• Start offline and your full wallpaper library — titles and details included — now appears anyway, then fills in automatically the moment you reconnect, instead of staying half-loaded
• When connectivity returns, the app automatically reloads your library and refreshes your license
• New "Offline Mode" banner with a reconnect countdown
• The Devices panel no longer hangs on a bad network — loading, registering, and unlinking now time out after 15 seconds instead of stalling for up to a minute

Music & Lock Screen

• Fixed a rare case where switching tracks could leave the music wallpaper failing to restore the previous wallpaper
• Music wallpaper now applies to the lock screen by default when enabled
• While the media-reactive wallpaper is running, the shuffle queue no longer overrides it — the two features stop changing your wallpaper out from under each other
• The mini player icon in the controls dock now shows for YouTube Music and other media apps, not just Apple Music and Spotify

App

• Download and install status cards (and the new offline banner) are now pinned just under the toolbar and sized to their content, so they no longer drift off-screen or overlap the window edge
• Tapping a video in the shuffle queue now registers across the whole row, not just the thumbnail or text
• The Settings window now shows every tab, including License and Support, instead of pushing some into an overflow menu
• Fixed in-app links (Terms, Privacy, Refund, Pricing) that pointed to outdated pages
• Software updates now show a clear error and a Retry Update button on failure, stop treating server errors (404/500) as a valid download, and reliably start when you tap Update Now after a background check found an update

Web

• Fixed shared and gallery links so the back button, bookmarks, filters, and scroll position are preserved
• Added missing author attribution on blog posts
• Improved SEO (sitemap, robots, structured data)
