Bug Fixes

Playback

• Fixed a nasty bug where the app would get stuck in an infinite loop trying to play a wallpaper that failed to load — this could freeze the whole system
• If a wallpaper can't start playing, the app now retries a few times and gives up gracefully instead of hammering the CPU

UI

• Fixed the lock screen status card getting cut off at the edge of the window

What's New

In-App Updates

• You can now see when a new version is available right inside the app — no need to check anymore
• A small orange dot appears on the menubar icon when there's an update
• Clicking "Update" opens a new Software Update screen with full release notes pulled from GitHub
• The app checks for updates in the background every ~30 minutes
• You'll also get a macOS notification when a new version drops (can be turned off in settings)

Improvements

• The back button in the update screen now matches the same style as the close button in other panels
• Release notes load before the update screen appears, so you don't see an empty page
