This is a pre-release. Four fixes found by testing beta 5, one of them in the seasonal adjustments, plus a few panel changes.
Fixes
- The live bucket no longer drops to last night's value (#869). When one attempt at the estimate failed, the entity fell back to the bucket committed at the last calculation, then came back a few minutes later, which showed as a spike on a graph. It did the same after every Home Assistant restart. A failed attempt now keeps the last estimate, as long as no calculation or bucket reset has happened since, and the entity comes back from a restart with the estimate it had.
- Seasonal adjustments for one zone now apply (#872). The action form offers
zonesas a text field, so it stores"0"or"0, 2". An adjustment written that way was silently ignored: the calculation raised on it and, since the season must never stop a calculation, applied nothing."all"and YAML lists worked. Text, a single id and a list are all read now. If you set up adjustments for particular zones from the action form, they start applying with this version. - A zone being watered outside Smart Irrigation is left out (direct valve control). A valve opened by hand or by another automation was not seen, so Irrigate now, Water all zones or the scheduled start "opened" it again, closed it under the other run, and credited the overlap twice. That zone is now skipped, with a log line, and the others water as usual. This relies on observed watering, which is also the only case where the overlap was counted twice. The same gap was reported in another fork of this integration; none of that code is used here.
Panel
- The panel opens on Home > Info instead of Settings > General (#871).
- The weather service history table had a second, shorter underline under every column with a unit. One underline now (#870).
- Settings > Help has a card inviting you to help translate, which points to the project on Hosted Weblate. The translations completed by machine in beta 5 have not been read by native speakers yet, so corrections are very welcome.
Other
- The logo has been redrawn as vectors. The old PNGs had a faint white box around them, a white halo on the edges, and a crop that cut off the tip of the drop and the edge of the leaf.
