CrossMacro 1.5.2 expands shortcut automation and improves macro editing, playback synchronization, and Linux desktop reliability.
- Assign multiple hotkey combinations to one shortcut, or configure ordered press-and-release macro pairs for gesture-style automation.
Both features are available across the GUI, CLI, and MCP workflows. - Add optional comments to individual macro actions. Comments stay with actions while editing and are saved in
.macrofiles without
changing playback. - Clean up recorded mouse movement with an adjustable threshold, preview, and undoable changes while preserving button states across
branches and loops. - Keep editor documents and their loaded playback copies in sync when saving, while preserving playback order and repeat counts.
- Improve Linux keyboard-layout detection and tray behavior, including restoring access to the main window when a usable system tray is
unavailable or disappears. - Apply settings changes immediately while saving them in the background, with safeguards against stale save failures overriding newer
settings. - Preserve transparency in image previews and move application version details into Settings.
