Changelog - UI Overhaul

• Updated to latest Stremio Community 5.0.20 which adds support for custom WebMods.

  • This allows loading custom js or css on startup of the app.

• Added a custom working version of the Stremio Glass theme. Uses OLED version by default.

  • Fixed most issues from the original release and added some personal tweaks.

• Other small fixes.

🚫DO NOT UPDATE

When prompted to update on launch, always choose “Later.”
Updating will remove Stremio Kai and install Stremio Community v5.0.19 instead — because 5.0.20 is still marked as a pre-release.

Theme Replacement

Download the one you want from the Assets below. To install, drag and drop the portable_config folder into your Stremio Kai folder and overwrite all files when prompted.

Theme Uninstall

To uninstall, delete the liquid-glass-theme folder inside portable_config/webmods.

🔧 Disable Update Checks Permanently

Optional, but RECOMMENDED to prevent accidental overwrites.

1. Create a shortcut to the Stremio Kai executable — or use an existing one.
2. Right-click the shortcut and choose Properties.
3. In the Target field, append this to the end: --autoupdater-endpoint=. Make sure there’s a space before it.
4. Click Apply, then OK. It should look like this:
