New Features
- Metron API Support: When moving files to your collection, the app will now use a
cvinfoto get a Metron ID as well. I've found the data for new releases is much better on Metron. - Click to Download: The Google Chrome Extension has been updated and you can simply click to download supported providers.
- Header Image Support: Add a
header.jpgto any Publisher folder and it will be displayed as a custom collection header. Recommended size is 2200x516. Header images can be drag & drop uploaded on the collection page. - Resume Reading/Bookmarks: If you close an issue before reading 90% of the issue, a bookmark will be added, letting you resume reading from your location the next time you open the file.
- Year End Review: Very much a w work-in-progress, but you can generate a set of year in review slides if you have been using CLU for reading.
- Additional ComicVine Support: Clicking the Fetch Metadata for All Comics In a Folder will not attempt to use ComicVine, Metron and local GCD Data - in that order.
- Update XML: In File Manager, in the three-dots drop-down, a new Update XML option has been added. Currently it supports updating the
Volumeyear in all files in a folder. This is useful if they were mis-tagged and you don't need to update all of the data.
Removed
-Mega.nz: Send to CLU support for Mega.nz has been removed. The package had not been updated in ~5 years and for stability and security I removed support for this provider.
New Requirements
With v4, CLU now requires a local path to store thumbnails and the database. For a collection of 115K comics, you will need ~3GB of space for thumbnails.
