New Features

Version 4 upgrades CLU to a full-fledged comic-app focused on speed while maintaining and enhancing all of the editing and management features unique to CLU.

Collection Browser: The old directory based interface has been replaced with a visual, thumbnail based browsing view. All previous editing features have been integrated into this new view and the existing File Browser.
Comic Reader: Also new in v4 is a browser based comic reader built for fast reading. You can instantly start reading large archives as the reader will only extract the pages as you read them. Additionally, when you are over 90% done reading, the book will be saved to your read history.
Insights Page: View all of your collection stats (files, size, publishers, reading history and more) on the new Library Insights page. See your reading history grow day-by-day.
Insights API: Basic collection details are available as JSON via and API, enabling homepage dashboard support.
File Uploads: Upload images while editing CBZ files. If the file is missing a cover or an image is corrupted, you can drag-and-drop an image into the UI and it will be uploaded and added to the CBZ.
Thumbnail Generation: Thumbnails for all your files will be generated on the first load. Once available, you can generate dynamic "stacked" thumbnails for all of your folders.
ComicVine Support: Basic ComicVine support for single-issues has been added. Manually trigger a ComicVine search for an issue or if enabled, ComicVine will add metadata to issues when moved to a folder containing a cvinfo file.
Database Cache: A local sqlite database has been added to store directory information, stats and reading history. You can trigger a database scan from Settings or manually scan any folder from the UI.
OPDS Feed Support: Easily download comics to your reader. Supports the full library or the new 'Want to Read' list.
Multiple Styles: Visit Settings --> Styling and try out any of the new visual styles
Download Support for ComicBookPlus.com: Add 'Send to CLU' download support for ComicBookPlus.com downloads

New Requirements

With v4, CLU now requires a local path to store thumbnails and the database. For a collection of 115K comics, you will need ~3GB of space for thumbnails.
