file-protectorwarns instead of blocking edits to.env,.env.*, and
.envrc. Keys, certificates, SSH material, credentials, passwords, and
tokens still block. A newwarnPatternsconfig key replaces the default
warn list.git-guardrailsacceptscleanup_policy: "relaxed"in
~/.claude/hook-config.json. Cleanup then skips merge proof for
branch -Dandworktree remove --force, while protected branches, the
current or locked worktrees,reset --hard,clean --force, and
push --forcestay blocked.- Bulk cleanup prunes worktree registrations whose directory is gone and
removes merged detached worktrees, so a stale entry no longer keeps its
branch.
Fixed
- The guard now accepts an approved removal of a detached worktree; it
treated every detached worktree as unverifiable. git branch -q -D <name>parses as a deletion instead of an unparseable
target.
Upgrade
Relaxed cleanup discards uncommitted files in removed worktrees without a
prompt. Leave cleanup_policy unset for the previous behaviour.
