Features
v3 introduces an integrated torrent-client, requests system, automatic media library management and more. It is now a standalone replacement for Sonarr, Radarr, Jellyfin, Seerr/Jellyseerr and a torrent client. It currently only needs an indexer (Jackett). New features include:
- Built-in torrent client (Webtorrent)
- Configuring automatic episode downloads and library cleanup
- A requests system, that manages what is needed and what can be cleaned up
- Quota system for limiting how much storage space users can use
- Bug fixes and more
There's a new user guide documenting the new features. The project taskboard and existing issues will be updated in the upcoming days and a roadmap will be added.
Migrating from v2 -> v3
Large parts of the backend has been rewritten, the plugin system from v2 has been retired and there has been changes to docker-compose.yml. See README for complete up-to-date example. Check before updating:
- You should update to v2.2.0+ and run server once before updating to v3. v3 moves to mikro-orm, and migrations might not apply correctly to older versions.
- Mounting config to
/usr/src/app/configin the container no longer works and should be changed to/config, see the example docker-compose.yml - It will not be possible to downgrade back to v2 after updating to v3, however a backup copy of your v2 database is made before database migrations run. If you want to stay on v2, update the docker image to
ghcr.io/aleksilassila/reiverr:v2-latest. - If you are using a VPN container, you might want to add
network_mode: service:vpnto Reiverr's Docker container, as the torrent client is now integrated. - SECRET environment variable has been renamed to JWT_SECRET
- There are various new environment variables for the torrent client, see README
