• Appsec

  • Unified configuration version cache in akamai_appsec_activations to prevent stale version errors after activation or deactivation.
  • Improved performance by sharing a single cached GetConfiguration response between getActiveConfigVersions and getLatestConfigVersion,
    eliminating redundant API calls when both are invoked within the same Terraform operation.

• Cloudlets

  • Added the akaRuleId field to the match_rules JSON of the akamai_cloudlets_policy resource (for shared policies) and the akamai_cloudlets_shared_policy data source.

• Cloud Certificates (Beta)

  • Replaced the legacy certificate API with the current certificate API. As a result, the akamai_cloudcertificates_certificate
    and akamai_cloudcertificates_upload_signed_certificate resources, as well as the akamai_cloudcertificates_certificate, akamai_cloudcertificates_certificates,
    and akamai_cloudcertificates_hostname_bindings data sources, have been removed.
  • Deprecated the ccm_certificates attribute from the akamai_property resource's hostnames block in favor of the new ccm_cert_id attribute
    for binding a single Cloud Certificates certificate lineage.
  • Added the akamai_cloudcertificates_activation resource to promote a certificate lineage's head generation to the STAGING and/or PRODUCTION networks.
  • Added the akamai_cloudcertificates_lineage resource to manage the lifecycle of a certificate lineage.
  • Added the akamai_cloudcertificates_upload resource to upload signed certificates to a certificate lineage generation.
  • Added the akamai_cloudcertificates_activation_status data source to retrieve the status of a certificate lineage activation request.
  • Added the akamai_cloudcertificates_activations data source to retrieve the activation history for a certificate lineage with optional result limiting.

• PAPI

  • Added the ccm_cert_id, ccm_cert_link, and ccm_cert_statuses attributes to the akamai_property_hostnames data source
    to support hostnames bound to a single Cloud Certificates certificate lineage via ccmCertId.
  • Added the ccm_cert_id, ccm_cert_link, and ccm_cert_statuses attributes to the akamai_property resource's hostnames block,
    allowing a hostname to be bound to a single Cloud Certificates certificate lineage via ccm_cert_id as an alternative to ccm_certificates.
  • Removed the zero_trust behavior from the v2026-06-09 and v2026-07-21 rule formats.

BUG FIXES:

• Appsec

  • Fixed an issue in the akamai_appsec_rapid_rules resource where terraform plan reported a spurious in-place update because the id attribute was marked as known after apply.

• CPS

  • Fixed the akamai_cps_dv_validation and akamai_cps_upload_certificate resources to wait until CPS enrollment changes reach an actionable state
    before handling domain validation, post-verification warnings, and change-management acknowledgements, preventing premature processing.

• DNS

  • Fixed an issue in the akamai_dns_record resource where TXT targets longer than 255 characters were rejected with ambiguous error (I#786).
  • Added validation to reject a trailing dot in target for AKAMAICDN records in the akamai_dns_record resource, preventing an ambiguous API error (I#664).

• PAPI

  • Fixed validation rules for some fields to be in sync with Property Manager. Validation now uses valid variable-length values (I#778).
